Ryan is a long time Guelphite, growing up in West Guelph during the 1980's and 90's before moving to Toronto for school and work. Upon settling in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood, Ryan and Beth were married and bought their first condo.
After having their first child in 2006, their little condo wouldn't do and so they moved back to Guelph. Two more kids and 17 years later, they consider the Exhibition Park neighbourhood to be their home.
Professionally, Ryan started his career in advertising agencies and then transitioned into marketing at the head offices of Indigo Bookstores, A&P Canada (now Metro grocery stores) and Kimberly-Clark. While at K-C, Ryan was asked to give sales a try, calling on his old employer A&P as his first client. Ryan's last corporate stop was Nestle Canada in 2008 where he stayed for 10 years, achieving the role of Sales Director for the company's largest customer, Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart nationally. His role was to sell their products through relationships at senior levels at head office.
Ryan obtained his real estate license in 2015, but it wasn't until late 2017 when he decided to move full time into real estate. Ryan continues to apply the skills learned in the Corporate world to Guelph real estate. As of 2024, Beth and Ryan are the top volume husband and wife team in Guelph.
