What is the Willow West / West Acres area like?
Willow West was Ryan's stomping grounds when he was younger, so this is an area we know particularly well. In the early 1980s, much of what is now developed west Guelph was still farmland; the area has changed considerably since then.
Geographically, this is a large area made up of three distinct but connected neighbourhoods: Willow West, Sugarbush and West Acres. Each has a somewhat different housing mix and character.

The more established portion of the area, with a broad mix of detached homes, semi-detached homes, townhouses and condominiums. Housing ages and styles vary considerably from street to street.

Sugarbush
Developed largely during the 1980s, Sugarbush is known for established residential streets and distinctive detached homes. Streets such as Sugarbush Place are characteristic of this part of west Guelph.
