Grange Road

Located on the east side of town, the Grange Road area has exploded in residential development over the last 20 years. There were some homes in this area in the mid 1970’s but development has since dwarfed these areas (see Mountford Rd as an example of older style homes).

Grange Road has the title of the highest turnover (number of houses sold) by far in Guelph in 202o.

This is likely because the area is densely populated with townhomes and semi-detached, along with detached homes. The demographic of this area is generally younger, first time buyers. 

In 2020, we saw a huge increase in the value of townhomes in Grange Road and neighbouring Kortright East

In terms of amenities, living in this part of Guelph will require transportation as there are few amenities within walking distance.
