Guelph real estate: Clairfields
At one time, the Clairfields neighbourhood was “out of town” when Beth and Ryan were younger. It was basically fields and the Pergola Inn, known for it’s mini golf, arcade and batting cages. Now, the Clairfields neighbourhood is Guelph’s most recent mega-development with restaurants such as Kenzo Ramen, Chocolat Favouris and so much more!
With a wide range of amenities the Clairfields neighbourhood has truly become a complete small town unto itself. Part of the popularity is the easy access to the 401 just a few minutes down the road for commuters, but also because you are surrounded by arterial roads that can get you around the city quickly.
And, there are a wide variety of home styles in the Clairfields neighbourhood, which they continue to still build:
- condos
- townhomes
- detached smaller foot print, 3-4 bedroom 1800 sf homes and estate homes pushing over the $1 million mark- the area really has it all!
The Clairfields neighbourhood is still in growth mode compared to neighbouring Pineridge, giving potential buyers more options if they’d like a custom build versus existing resale home.
Like most areas of Guelph, the Clairfields neighbourhood realized a gain in 2020- gaining at the same pace as the City average.
