Exhibition Park

One of Guelph’s oldest and storied areas just north of downtown is Exhibition Park. At the centre of the neighbourhood is the most historic of parks in Guelph, Exhibition Park.

Established in 1871, the park has been used for the City’s original annual exhibition, has included a horse race track, an exhibition building and livestock sheds. The Park is also home to Hastings Stadium, where the Guelph Royals baseball team plays. On the north end of the park, the City run Exhibition Arena is a city run facilityused by all ages.

Homes in the area are mainly century homes on mature streets including McTague, Mont, Tiffany, Lyon, Dufferin and Barber Ave. In the newer sections of the neighbourhood, you’ll find the 1950’s bungalows lining streets like Avondale, Campion and Robertson.

Just a stones throw from downtown, this area is highly walkable to downtown shops including restaurants in Guelph, Guelph pubs, coffee shops in Guelph, the Sleeman Centre and River Run Centre.

Beth and Ryan are the top volume Guelph real estate agents in the Exhibition Park neighbourhood from 2018-2022* and would be happy to find something here for you!

*GDAR $ volume Jan 1 2018-Dec 31, 2022, buying and selling ends.
