Kortright Hills

This is Beth’s stomping grounds growing up! Located on the east side of the Hanlon Expressway and contained between Stone Rd and Downey Rd, Kortright Hills is an area almost considered exclusive. The major landmark of this area is the YMCA. Homes here have surpassed an average price of $700,000 and maintains the status of Guelph’s highest priced neighbourhood.

Built mainly in the 1980’s, the footprint is very similar from house to house: spacious homes on nice lots. Almost all homes have garages and at least three bedrooms. When developed, there was a lot of greenspace that was maintained, so it is common that a home here would back onto a park, a pond or forested area.

Because of it’s isolation, this area would require a longer walk across the Hanlon or reliance on transportation for groceries or other day to day amenities.
